Mastery of work. Spiritual development.
The sculptor is master of his craft (air).
The monk represents spiritual understanding (water).
The architect represents creative energy and desire (fire).
The arches point heavenwards.
The pentacles form an upward pointing fire triangle.
There is a balancing downward pointing water triangle beneath, and this is supported, earthed and rooted by a pillar.
Work should be rooted in reality: the needs of the world and the community.
Reversed: The work is not rooted in the needs of the world and the community. Perhaps there is weakness or laziness, or the work is misguided or pointless, or caught up in details. Perhaps the help of others is required, and the work should be shared.
