Pisceans are mystical, sensitive, and caring. They can show us all that our inner lives and dreams are important.
Positive traits include spiritual awareness, psychic comprehension, philosophic insight, sensitivity, humility, compassion, sensitivity, and healing potential.
Negative traits include timidity, apprehension, masochism, idleness, lying, carelessness, mood swings, and weakness of will.
Pisceans are kind, helpful, peace-loving, and self-sacrificing. They are receptive to he woes of others, and are sensitive enough to feel the wrongs done to them. They have excellent potential, but to realise it they need support and encouragement from others, more so than any other sign. They tend to underestimate themselves and deceive themselves.
You can always tell a Piscean by their feet - they tend to stand with legs crossed in a fish-like manner, and draw attention to their feet by wearing eccentric or glamorous footwear. Their feet are very important to them.
They are very psychic and intuitive, and have vivid dreams, stray thoughts, and insights. They tend to have strong religious feelings, and are very sensitive, and easily hurt. More often than not, they are misunderstood.
Pisceans live half way between fantasy and reality, and sometimes they don't quite know which world they are living in - there is a tendency to opt out of reality, and to seek the fulfillment of dreams through drink or drugs. They are mystics, with powerful imagination, and they will happily spend their lives dreaming the hours away. They are, literally, absent-minded at times, and they pay more attention to feelings than to logic.
They never seem to know where they are coming from, or going to. They are an enigma to themselves, as well as to others, seeing the world as they would like it to be, rather than how it is. They are the ultimate escapists. This world seems cruel to them, and they feel persecuted by others and misunderstood. They can be their own worst enemy, being so full of self pity and pessimism, and aimless in thought and action.
They are not greatly interested in the future, as they hate plans, and prefer to live their life from day to day. So long as they are happy now, they prefer to take the future for granted.
It is said that Pisceans incarnate either to suffer or to save - there is truth in this, and it may be both, as only the injured have compassion. No other sign is so inclined to present itself as life's victim, nor is any other sign so inclined to genuine empathy for suffering. Pisceans can flip into chaotic and orgiastic license and dissolution, or they can become fatally involved with people who act out this chaos for them, taking them to the depths vicariously, as nurses of the mad. The frightening shadowy side of this scenario is that they may have an unconscious investment in the loved one remaining sick.
Pisceans are chameleons, reflecting the moods of others, and lacking definition themselves. Like the fish, they are sly, elusive, and slippery. They are never really satisfied with anything in life and are perpetually restless. As colleagues, they can be lazy, impractical, and exasperating, and they will stoop to fraudulent practices through their basic dishonesty. They are quite capable of pandering to people who can help them, but this is superficial and false in the extreme, as they have no pride. They lack responsibility, and cannot face reality, seeking sensation and escape into their fantasy world.
Pisceans fall in love very easily, which makes their lives confusing - they tend to learn the hard way, through their mistakes. They are romantic in every sense of the word, and this can prevent them from seeing loved ones in a true light. At the same time, they are superficial in love - they crave the drama of emotion, and are hardly ever faithful, though they are not in the least bit sexually aggressive. They seek to avoid monotony and boredom, and can be unreliable and devious, doing anything to avoid a firm commitment. Against this may be balanced their devotion and kindly heart.
When they do marry, they lean heavily on their partner, and rely on them to bring strength and purpose to their chaotic and aimless existence. They easily become hurt and dejected, really needing affection more than love. Although they long for love, and hunger for friends, they seldom find true happiness.
